I wore this mask for so long, believing I’d never turn into them. When I was young I scoffed at their rules and the fragile heart they shielded. I ran, sure I was different, destined for more. But now, tracing lines on my face I see their reflection stare back. Their love clings to me, even when I resist. As their time slips away, I realize they were never something to outrun. They were home. If only I could set aside this mask and slip back into those years - to say thank you, and I’m sorry, all at once

Loop or lull, it signals change is needed. As Mask 542 said, contentment starts within, but it also thrives when we act. Without change, the cycle stays unbroken. Pick one small thing, like rediscovering an old passion, to spark hope that things change

I often label the privileged as entitled, but they never chose their birth and probably won't experience all colours in life. We’re not at fault for where we start, only for the harm we cause. Each new face deserves a blank slate, sometimes I forget this.

I mistakenly wanted the mask to be fully mine, but it began as theirs. Each day I carve new details, making it more beautiful
